Who we are
A non-profit defending free expression across the MENA region and its diaspora.
REDWORD promotes freedom of expression, defends press and media freedoms, and combats disinformation, hate speech and incitement to violence. Founded in Toronto in 2024.

Why the word “RED”?
Red, in some cultures, means danger and warning. It also means love and passion. It is the colour of blood and of red flowers — so which side do you lean towards? We shine a red light on the danger spots, fight words of hate and incitement stained with red blood, and replace them with red words of love.
