An Egyptian novelist and researcher based in France. He writes on political sociology, the body, and its relationship with authoritarianism, colonialism, and neoliberalism, among other themes. He has published six works across literature and research, including the books Who Owns the Right to the Body (2022), Representations of Egyptian Society in the Self, Body, and Identity (2023), and the novel Al-Tabe‘ and Suleiman: On Love, the Body, and Exile (2025).
